Having just and I mean JUST come back from Dublin, the next day I was on my way to see Dean. And I was not missing this at all. I remember when all the tickets had sold out, I was so bummed out (how is everyone so quick?!) he was only going to perform in London on a Sunday but luckily he decided to add another date (Saturday). I was definitely on the lookout and snagged the tickets quick this time!
So having arrived on the day, me and my friend Christine eventually met up, grabbed a drink at Costa and started to queue up. The lines for the concert were extremely long and doors didn't open until late but it gave both of us some time to catch up on each other's lives. I liked the fact that the queues were separated into three to differentiate who bought V.V.I.P/V.IP tickets, Early bird and General Admission tickets. When we got into the venue we went down to the standing area but quickly realised it wasn't a good spot because we're both really short. We ran up the stairs to the balcony area and found the perfect place to take pictures and videos but most importantly watch the concert in comfort with a clear view. As the concert hall started to fill up, 2xxx started to DJ which got everyone hyped.
SAAY was the next act followed by MISO, SAAY was sexy and had that vibe throughout whereas MISO had the funky chilled vibe. Both great artists in their respect but I was definitely anticipating Dean. Once Dean came out, the crowd started screaming. Dean had us all weak! his vocals were off the charts and dancing was super cute. I love the music he puts out and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. He made sure to interact with Rebels (fandom name) from all angles of the stage. I would love to attend another concert if he comes back again! It was just amazing!
